Created And Written By Tom Taylor

Introduction
Congratulations on your new purchase! BigBoxHockey is a wonderful game for indoors or out where your students utilize many of the same stick handling skills required on a full size rink. This guide is designed to help you and your students get the most out of BigBoxHockey.
Game Objective
Students try to rotate to number 1 and see how long they can stay there.
How To Play
The game may be set up using 4 to 6 boards, depending on available space and the number of players. Boards may be defended by 1 to 3 players, again, depending on the number of players. Board sequence and number values are as follows:
- 4 boards: red (1), yellow (2), blue (3), green (4)
- 5 boards: red (1), yellow (2), blue (3), green (4), violet (5)
- 6 boards: red (1), yellow (2), blue (3), green (4), violet (5), orange (6)
Variations
Variation 1:
When a team's player scores a goal against one of the opposing teams, the scoring team receives the point value of the board scored against. After each goal, teams rotate to the right, for example, red (1) to yellow (2), orange (6) to red (1).
Variation 2 (Paddle Ball Variation):
This variation can be used with 4 to 6 boards only. In this variation boards become nets. Team players must bounce a ball over the board directly opposite from where they are and past the opposing player(s). A soft, low-bounce ball should be used.
Variation 3:
Play the same way as in variation #1, but players use their hands instead of paddles.
