BigBoxHockey provides an action-packed arena, where players utilize many of the same skills required in a full-size rink.

During the game, each player assumes simultaneous, offensive and defensive roles, becoming a goalie one second, a forward the next second. This constant changing is necessary to reach the objective of defending up to 3 goals, while attempting to score on 15 others.

Each BigBoxHockey set is comes with 6 each; 6'W x 10"H, brightly colored, lacquered board modules (1 each; red, yellow, blue, green, violet and orange), that attach to one another using our proprietary hinge system.

Each board has 3, evenly spaced, 5"W x 6"H, dome goals. The goals are designed to allow for the use of either a puck or no-bounce balls. The uniqueness of the modular design allows for a variety of sizes, from a 4-board square to the maximum number of boards your budget allows.

You also have the option of playing one or two players per board. Play one board against all others or put the primary colors against the secondary colors. Alternating primary and secondary colored boards adds the element of "cross-rink" passing.

You can even add difficulty by playing more than one puck and/or ball at a time. Sticks, pucks and balls are sold separately and not included (see our catalog for a wide selection of floor hockey sticks, pucks and balls).
