The Top-10 UpperBodyFitness CENTER features 10 stations uniquely different and designed to be fun. Each is clearly illustrated with graphics that include easy-to-read activity instructions.
Rotation can be varied by the teacher from lesson to lesson. Students can move either in timed or in activity completed sequences. All standard activities also include "advanced" skill variations.
The 10 Standard Activities Are:
- Beanbag Hockey" hand-to-hand ball movement, through weight shifting.
- "Around The Back" has students repetitively moving a ball over their back.
- "4 Corner Pushups" is an alternate, hand-movement, pushup-strength builder.
- "Touch It" requires alternate hand, straight up, ball lifting.
- "Trojan Salutes" have students doing alternate hand, cross body ball lifting.
- "Ball Touches" builds strength and balance, through forward and back, alternate, elbow lifts.
- "Perfect Form Pushups" requires just what the name implies using PerfectForm Half Balls to provide positive feedback.
- "Around the World" has students weight shifting, forward, out and in, as they move their hands around the globe.
- "Unstack/Stack" challenges students to relocate and restore, 2 stacks of disks, using alternating hand movement and weight shifting.
- "Chin Juggling" is a series of alternate hand lifting and weight shifting, requiring the movement of a ball from one side to the other with a "chin stop" in between.
